Billing

Monthly billing charges you each month and renews automatically on your monthly anniversary. Annual billing charges you once per year at a discounted rate (Standard: $99/year vs $9/month; Pro: $299/year vs $29/month). You choose monthly or annual at checkout; both options appear on the Billing page. Cancellations on either cycle take effect at the end of your current billing period.

We process payments and subscriptions exclusively through Stripe — card payments, receipts, and subscription management all go through Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers on our servers. If you have billing questions, include your Order ID and any transaction details when contacting support so we can investigate quickly.

Subscriptions can be billed monthly or annually and will automatically renew on your next billing date. You can cancel anytime from your account to stop future renewals — cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. If you need help cancelling or reviewing a renewal, contact support and include your Order ID.

If a project shows "Awaiting Payment" it means the project was created but payment for the selected paid plan hasn’t completed yet. To proceed: 1) Visit Billing in your account and complete the checkout for the project’s plan. 2) If you already completed payment but the project still shows awaiting status, check your dashboard for a receipt/order ID and refresh the Portal. If the problem persists, contact support with your Order ID and Project ID so we can confirm the payment and resume generation. Once payment is confirmed (or after you approve the first page), generation will proceed automatically.

Annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable for the remainder of the billing year once the charge has processed. If you believe an error occurred (for example a duplicate charge or processing issue), contact support with your Order ID and transaction details — exceptional refunds may be issued after review. Refunds are processed via our payment processor (Stripe) and may require verification; we'll notify you once a decision and any refund are completed.

AuthorPass is a membership program on SelfPublishing.pro. If you have an active AuthorPass subscription that includes the Groops benefit, you can activate a free Groops Standard plan by clicking "Claim AuthorPass Benefit" on your portal dashboard. The system verifies your account email against SelfPublishing.pro automatically. If verification fails, check that you are logged in with the same email address used on SelfPublishing.pro, or contact support.

Yes — you can upgrade anytime from your account billing page. Upgrading gives you access to the higher plan's page allowance and features; for active projects we will automatically generate the remaining pages for that project once payment completes (no need to start over). Upgrades are charged at checkout; if you need a custom billing arrangement (for example, a manual pro‑rate) contact support and we'll review your request.

Yes — after any paid purchase you'll receive an order confirmation email that includes your Order ID and receipt. If you don't receive it, please check your spam folder first; if it's still missing contact support and include your Order ID so we can resend it for you.

Yes. We process card payments using Stripe (our primary processor) and support PayPal; we do not store raw card numbers on our servers. If you have questions about a charge, please contact support with your Order ID and any transaction details so we can investigate.

Admin users may see a TEST MODE banner at the bottom of the site when PayPal or Authorize.net sandbox mode is enabled in Site Settings. This banner is shown only to admin-level accounts to prevent accidental live testing — no real charges are made while sandbox mode is active. If you are a customer and see unexpected billing behavior, contact support and include your Order ID.

Your generated pages remain live and accessible to visitors even after cancelling or downgrading — we do not delete your pages automatically. However, your page and project limits will revert to those of your new plan at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be able to generate new pages beyond the Free plan allowance. If you want to remove your pages, you can delete them manually from the portal at any time.

Getting Started

Generation time depends on project size, plan, and queue load. Small/free projects typically finish in a few minutes (2–5 minutes). Standard projects (up to 100 pages) commonly complete in roughly 8–20 minutes; larger or Pro work can take longer (often 15–30 minutes) depending on queue and external API responses. The first page can take a bit longer while we run keyword research and establish the project's style; we'll email you when your pages are ready. Times vary based on workload and external API responses.

Groops supports nine project categories: Book, Website, YouTube Channel, Local Service, Ecommerce Product, Event, Podcast, Professional Profile, and App. When you create a new groop, you select the category and fill in the relevant details (for example, title and buy link for a book, or business name and service area for a local service). The AI uses those details to generate targeted landing pages.

Yes. During the project setup wizard you can upload a product image (JPG, PNG, or WebP) and an optional document (PDF, TXT, EPUB, DOC, DOCX up to 10 MB). The image is used to generate a cinematic hero image for your landing pages using AI (or you can choose to use the original image as-is). The document text is used as additional context to make the generated pages more accurate.

Log into your portal at groops.com/portal to view all your generated pages.

We’ll email you when your pages are finished and update the project status in your Portal dashboard — you can also check progress any time at /portal/. If you approve the first page, we'll automatically start generating the rest of the pages for that project.

If you started a project but didn’t finish onboarding, you can resume it from the Create Project flow. When you go to Create New Project the site will detect saved drafts and show a “Resuming your project” message with your pre-filled details — just review, complete any missing fields, and click Create Project. If you can’t find your draft, contact support and include your account email and any project name so we can help recover it.

The fastest way is the Contact form on our Contact page — it ensures we have your details and typically gets a response within hours. You can also email hello@groops.com. For quick questions you may text or call +1 978 522 6530 (standard messaging/data rates may apply).

Pages & Content

Yes. From your Portal you can view any generated page and delete pages you don't want. Deletions are permanent (there is no recycle bin), so please be sure before deleting. For the first generated page you can request an alternate version if you prefer not to delete it. If you need help restoring content after deletion, contact support and include the Project ID and page details.

If you don’t like a page you can delete it from your portal. For the first generated page you can use the "Request Different Version" button to get an alternate take. On Standard and Pro plans you can also regenerate pages using backup keywords. Approving the first page will trigger generation of the remaining pages for that project.

Yes. From your portal dashboard, open the project and use the Delete Project option. This permanently removes the project and all its generated pages, keyword research, and generation jobs — there is no recycle bin, so please be certain before proceeding. If you need to recreate a deleted project, you will need to start the onboarding wizard again.

When you approve the first generated landing page for a project, Groops will automatically start generating the remaining pages for that same project using the approved style and keywords. If you don’t like the first page, use the "Request Different Version" button to get an alternate take before approval.

Yes. From your project detail page in the portal, find the page you want to redo and click Rebuild. The page is re-queued for generation using a backup keyword, and a new version replaces it once the job completes. Rebuild uses one backup keyword from your keyword research pool, so only a limited number of rebuilds are possible per project.

Pricing

We offer Free, Standard, and Pro plans, billed monthly or annually. Quick reference: - Free: 3 pages, 1 groop, $0. - Standard: 100 pages, 1 groop — $9/month or $99/year. - Pro: 100 pages, up to 10 groops — $29/month or $299/year. When you upgrade, we will automatically generate any remaining pages for active projects tied to that plan. Exact plan feature details are shown on the Billing page.

Project limits vary by plan. Your current plan's project allowance is shown when you create a new project and on your Billing/Account pages. For reference, the Pro plan supports up to 10 projects; contact support if you need a custom arrangement.

SEO

We add live pages to our sitemap automatically and regenerate the sitemap on a regular hourly schedule, which helps search engines find newly generated pages faster. Search engine indexing timing varies by crawler and can take anywhere from a few hours to several weeks; submitting your sitemap to Google Search Console can speed things up.

Troubleshooting

If page generation fails, please open a support request and include your Project ID. For first-page issues you can use the portal's "Request Different Version" button; for other failures we'll investigate, retry generation, or advise next steps and email you when it's resolved.
